Seminar by ESR - Optical and optogenetic tools

In this seminar, I will give a broad introduction of different optical and optogenetic tools available for monitor and manipulate neuronal activity. In the first part, I will give an overview of different multiphoton light shaping techniques, including ULoVE, FACED, SLAP and FLiT. In the second part, I will introduce different optogenetic tools available, including Optopatch and BiPOLES.
